#hermonosparasiempre!
Hello Family,
Happy Birthday Jake! #hermonosparasiempre! Happy Fathers Day!
I can't believe I'm leaving the MTC in only 6 days. I'm so excited. Everybody is so excited to leave the MTC and go to there countries. There is one elder in this group that lives in Panama, but I haven't talked to him much. There is also a teacher that went to Panama. He said it rains so hard every day for about 5 minutes and then stops and once your dry it will rain hard again for 5 minutes. He said the food there is rice for every meal. I am really excited to leave Mexico City because the air here is very bad, I'm sure it is a lot better in Panama. I've had a little cold this week but I feel fine.
A lot of missionaries from the Mexico City East Mission come to the Temple and we get to talk to them. Every missionary I've talked to says not to worry about the language that it will come. But sometimes it's hard not to worry because you can't understand someone, but I'm improving. My companion and I are understanding more and speaking more when we teach investigators (instructors). Also when I read the Book of Mormon in Spanish I'm understand more of the words.
Yesterday we had a Devotional with the same Area 70 from 2 weeks ago Elder Johnson. I will mention two things said in his talk.
1. An Elder asked, "How do you tell your companion he his doing something wrong or tell him how to improve?" his answer was, worry about yourself, try to improve yourself not your companion. Always try to compliment your companion.
2. An Elder asked, "How do I show more love to everybody not just my companion or my investigators". He said if you want to show more love serve them. He mentioned why do your parents love you so much? It's because they are always serving you ever since you were a baby. True love is shown by service.
I'm really excited to give service to the people in Panama and show my love for the people there. I know when I forget myself in Panama I will be able to work much harder. I'm really excited to see who my trainer will be, I'm not sure if I want a native or an American companion, either way I'm excited. I am also really excited to listen to music on my iPod.
I hope you have a lot of fun at youth conference.
Love,
Elder Weston
Thanks for sending me your talk I really enjoyed reading it. I'm so gratefull to have a living prophet today.

We eat breakfast at 7:00
We start class at 7:45 and go till 12:00 between those hours we teach investigators, language study, TALL (a computer program), Coaching Missionary, Teaching, Personal Study time, Companion Study. (not in that order)
12:00-1:00 we eat lunch.
1:00-4:00 more class
4:00-5:30 gym
6:00-7:00 more class
7:00-7:45 dinner
8:00-9:00 teach investigator
9:00-9:30 plan
9:30-10:30 go to dorms and sleep.
For our P Day today we went to Teotihuacan, it's was very cool. We had a tour guide that was LDS and told us all the symbolism and how it relates to our temples. We walked up the Temple of the Sun and it was amazing. I have pictures and will try and send them. We saw some other missionaries there and they translated what the guide was saying so we could understand. There is some very interesting statues and artifacts there and I learned a lot. While we were there everybody was trying to sell us stuff. We had our P day on Tuesday because we wanted to go to Teotihuacan and we couldn't go when the other Latino missionaries were here.
Dad send me your talk I would like to read it.
Sorry my letters are so short, I never know what to say.
Thank you so much for your letters,

This week was not the healthiest for missionaries, yesterday a few missionaries were sick. I have had a cold but it's not bad. We are getting a new group of Latinos tomorrow. The Panama Elder gave me one of his Panama ties, its very colorful and the coolest tie I have ever seen.

1/2 way to Panama
Hello Family,
I've been feeling better this week which is good. My companion says he feels sick about everyday so hopefully he feels better soon. There are still some missionaries that feel a little sick but I think everybody is feeling a bit better. The new Latinos are nice, there is one Latino from Panama and he's really nice. The new Latinos stay up late. I sleep well. The Spanish is coming along, I still feel a bit frustrated but I'm doing better. Our district has so much fun with each other, and we have been learning a lot.
The weather is not that bad here, it doesn't rain everyday and if it does it's for about 20 minutes in the afternoon, but never really hard. Fast Sunday was good we fasted dinner on Saturday and Sunday morning. Sundays are my favorite day here, besides P-day. We get to listen to our mission president and his wife give talks and they are always so good, and we get to watch movies. We watched the Joseph Smith Restoration movie again, that movie is awesome.
I heard Elder Holland came but he didn't come and speak to us, we were sad. Yesterday the area president of Mexico came and gave a devotional. I got to give the closing prayer in Spanish. Everybody said I did a good job, I was still nervous. That story about President Brewer giving the blessing sounds amazing.
It sounds like Grandma and Grandpa had fun in Canada.
I bet it's way hot in Texas where Alex is serving. I bet once I get to Panama I will know how he feels.
Mom that's cool you got nominated for the award, I hope you win.
I'm learning a lot and I'm getting better at Spanish. I have been working really hard and I'm always trying to use my time wisely. I know the Church is true and I'm really excited to serve and help the people of Panama.
Love,
Elder Weston
